Advertisements from the soul. They express the emotions through artwork. Music is one of these forms of artwork. It has been passed down from generation to generation. This "oral tradition" in which songs are passed down through generations, has its roots in African American history. The are some songs throughout times that expresses the emotions of their era.
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate how songs convey meanings, ideas and feelings. The songs that will be compared come from "Anytime-anywhere," "Before 1974" and "Any non English-speaking country." Each song will be listed
